INGREDIENTS:
Spill Fix is made from a proprietary blend of Coco Peat (Cocos Nucifera Peat) which is a cellulose organic fibre, plus two species of pine bark: Pinus Elliottiiand Pinus Patula.
HOW IT WORKS:
Its absorbent ability is due to its highly porous ultra-structure, together with its surface properties. This makes it highly effective in absorbing hydrophobic substances.
The physical structure of the matrix of capillaries allows the product to absorb hydrocarbons. This traps the pollutant within the fibre, preventing leaching.
The pine bark within this product acts as an absorbent with a naturally occurring micro-organism that assists in the degradation of the pollutant.
